Fall winter 11 / 12 - Rescue of a wool skirt.

Ceinture La Chiffo. Boots en daim brun vintage (made in france!) trouvées chez Emmaüs. Bracelets: homemade (mes enfants) et Maryfrip.

//

a: Basically, a pretty straight skirt, boiled wool slightly mottled and thick, lined, zip closing back ...  Unfortunately, washes him to lose all its size and comfort. Given the quality of the wool, no question of getting rid of it: I will instead use his pace a little distorted to recreate a little high.
b: Bordered by fringes in a color contrasting to give it a more bohemian side.
c and d: Jean's Homemade (short, back pockets & Recycling "). The belt Chiffo.  Vintage brown suede boots (made in France!) found in Emmaus. Bracelets: homemade (my children) and Maryfrip.

Fall winter 11 / 12 - Rescue of a XL vest.

a: Le gilet fin initial.

a: The initial purpose vest. Size XL (too especially at the shoulders!), But so soft and comfortable!
b and c: I ripped the buttons, is a back / side of 1.5 cm on each front opening to remove the width to vest, and then sewed a clip recovered from a broken ramp grandfather, to close the pull and adjust to my size (I clamp my point!).
d: For the sleeves are too long: no problem, the vest is the air of mittens. Simple and cozy.

Fall winter 11 / 12 - Transformation of a shearling coat too large.

a: Initially, I got an imitation shearling jacket (actually it's gum and fake fur, and it goes into machine, great!) is a brand jacket ("Et Dieu créa la femme"), I fell for her tan and brown lining, unusual on this type of coat ... But then, it is at the very least two sizes too big for me ...
b: Repeat the entire stature would be impossible for me in against battle here and there and rearrange the sleeves to create a cape, that's in my ability! A real experiment ...  you may give ideas!
c and d: In the end: one hot cape to face the cold weather ... I took the opportunity to wear my jeans recreated out last winter, also accented with hot materials.

Last summer, my friend Catherine gave me this jacket Morgan a little satin long enough, closing with a button and without pocket. I wanted to give it a little more rock side of him placing the front of a vintage waistcoat in black leather and snaps I had in my wardrobe ... The jacket can completely close and she found pockets!
A fairly simple to perform, rendering Bimaterial trendy... With a possible return to the original jacket ... If you change your mind.

Fall winter 11 / 12 - A kilt becomes a warm cape.

//

a: At the start: a small sleeveless vest, faux fur & a wool skirt / kilt, before closing with a large pin and tightening at the waist with leather ties and loop.
b: I sewed the back & the neck of the jacket inside the skirt. Then I moved the links on the size of legs to use it close to the front. I then set up the openings for the arms, lined through imitation leather. All this gives me a small woolen cape, lined neck and hot on the back.
c and d: John and top, homemade. Chanel bag unearthed at an event sale at La Chiffo. Vintage boots, ebay auction Winter 2008 (in Daguzon).
